See pics from our trip to Tallulah Gorge here

I can't believe it's the weekend before Thanksgiving. This holiday sure snuck up on me this year. We've got a crazy exciting weekend ahead of us, re-doing all of the plumbing in our kitchen and laundry room. Don't be too jealous. If we can finish it this weekend, we'll be right on schedule to have our electrical and plumbing inspection this month. Of course, nothing about this remodel has stuck to a schedule so far, so I'm keeping my expectations low. We'll see how it goes.

Here are a few links I've loved this week:

I'm not brave enough to tackle making my own dish soap quite yet, but I would love to try one day!

I've been practicing these hip opening moves all week.

These are great tips for keeping blood sugar levels stable during the holidays (and why you should care about it).

Do you wear shoes inside your home?

Laughed out loud at this (mainly because I've experienced it before): avocado anxiety

Have a great weekend!

  1. You always have the best link round-up! a) hip openers are my best friend and worst enemy b) the 4 tips on keeping blood sugar levels stable is so smart (and simple!) and i really need to pay attention to that this season and c) i used to read the cakies blog YEARS ago and forgot about her! so glad you linked there.

    1. Aw thanks! Any tips on hip opening? I have never been able to sit cross-legged before and I’m determined to finally master it.

    2. Pigeon is my least favorite but it has definitely helped me make the most improvements (pose #4 on that list is a great modification, which I often still do) That squat position (#3) used to seem too simple to me, but I've noticed that I can stay in that position FOREVER and it gives me so much more flexibility.
